C.H. Norton Shows Compassion

posted Dec 8, 2016, 11:28 AM by Rob Brown
On Wednesday November 30th, Mrs. Beam’s Grade 1/2 and Mrs. Broe-Vayda’s Grade 5/6 classes highlighted the character trait “compassion” during our third character trait assembly of the year. At the assembly, 25 boxes of gently used winter clothing donated by our CH Norton community were presented to thankful representatives of the Compassion Society in Burlington. The assembly also featured a “compassionate” remix of Yellow Submarine by the Beatles as well as a reading of the poem “Arturi’s Story” by Mrs. Broe-Vayda’s class. CH Norton’s next act of compassion is holiday toy drive for
The Darling Home, a home-like environment caring for children with complex medical needs in Milton.

Thank you CH Norton for showing compassion and Making a Difference!
