#madformaddie initiative for Camp Trillium

Many thanks to staff, students and community members who helped us raise awareness about juvenile cancer and with our fundraiser for Camp Trillium. Our Make a Difference and Me to WE leaders worked hard to produce and sell…

- handmade  bracelets (gimp, beaded, thread, etc.)

-Do it yourself friendship bracelet kits

- lollipops with inspirational messages

- Kindness rocks with positive, pump-up, inspirational quotes

-note cards with quotations/inspirational messages

-magnetic messages for lockers/fridges/filing cabinets

We collected $1017.25 for Camp Trillium and had a ton of fun preparing for the event. Some of our leaders even tried to make a difference on weekends by holding a neighbourhood bake sale and by making and selling homemade,  fashionable bags. Kindness really does inspire kindness!

Thank you as well to everyone who generously contributed trinket treasures for young patients at  McMaster Hospital. Students at C. H. Norton certainly know how to make others smile! Thank you!
